Others offer the senses, viz shrotra etc., in the fires of self-control. Others offer the vishayas, viz shabda etc., in the fires of the senses.
Other yogis offer senses like shrotra etc in the fires of self-control. Since self-control is possible for every sense, therefore the agni is used in plural. Self-control alone is the fire. Yogis offer senses in those fires. The meaning is that they control the senses.
Further, others offer the vishayas like shabda etc in the fire of senses. Senses are fires. In those fires, vishayas are offered. They consider the offering to be the perception of non-prohibited-vishayas through senses such as shrotra etc.
